Cricket crazy!!!!!

hey gys...me back again .....this time with the country's favourite topic......cricket.....But i am not going to write bout ny of the cricketers or the politics in cricket.........But gonna pendown my experience with the game....

Cricket......the game i hated until the 1996 worldcup ,the only reason being i couldnt understand it.....no ball,LBW,wide, hitwicket ,timeout..............all these were bonkers to me.....
Come the summer of 1996 ,my grade 5 results were out and there was a usual parent teacher meeting. My dad just got hold of my report card and was pretty pleased with my grades.......i was safe again!!!!!!!! As we were walking down to the parking space , my dads eyes fell on dozen of gys practising in the nets and then asked a shocker "y arnt u in the school team??"...shocker because i wsnt prepared for it ....and if i hated someone in my school , it was my pt master......i had already got a dozen thrashings from him for various reasons........That very day my dad enrolled me in the summer camp, and i could feel my pt master sayin "u r going to get a dozen more thrashing this summer!!!"

Luckily tht camp went off peacefully as the coach was busy with the seniors of the school cricket team.....Come the summer of grade 6 ,this time i deliberately joined the camp......That was the first time i ws allowed to bowl with the tennis balls.every weekend inter camp matches were held for seniors ,where i used to be a mere spectator. It was another weekend and another match.........but this time with a difference. There was shortage of players (infact fielders) and i was made to field .As it wasnt an important match i was allowed to bowl..........gosh tht was the first time i was holding the red cricket ball...didnt even know how to hold the seam. Luckily i got my first break in that match.......and i was dumped in under 15 team as a left arm fast bowler...

That was the best phase of my cricketing life...and worst part of a students life out of 9 months of school i was made to spent 5 months participating in the inter school tournaments.......Tht was the time i really missed my class mates ......luckily my teachers were supportive and so as my friends......

As the grade 8 came to an end ,we had an adla badli..........a new coach and in short......"Greg chappell" for me, infact far worst than him.......initially every thing went fine .....all came to a fullstop when we had a inter school U17 tournament in bhanoor.....where the bl**dy coach had got in 4 new players who were not only from our school but also were above 18.Chappell was better of in term of gettin new players from india......Though we won the tournament.........but never really celebrated.........and tht was the same time my grades in school got low..........and tht ws the time dad decided that "i retire from school cricket"...ppl think to make debut on 17 ........but here is a guy retiring at 17.something to feel proud of.........but i am glad tht my dad had done it.....grade 10 started off well.......infact one of the best phase of my life.......made some really gr8 friends and got along well with people....Tht was the time i realised importance of people being around u..........grade 10 had really changed me.......thanks to my parents and friends........i still had passion to play.....and i managed it by playin gully cricket......kudos to the game ..........gamez really crazy!!!!!
